1. What We Do

Ask Mirror is an AI-powered outfit feedback service. You send a photo via WhatsApp, and we return annotated style feedback. We also publish curated style verdicts on TikTok.

2. Information We Collect

  • Photos you send — processed to generate feedback, then deleted within 24 hours unless you opt in to having your verdict featured.
  • WhatsApp phone number — used solely to deliver your feedback. We do not share it with third parties.
  • Verdict content — the AI-generated text and annotated images may be stored for content creation purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Ask Mirror:

  • Twilio — WhatsApp messaging infrastructure.
  • OpenAI — AI vision analysis and editorial copy generation.
  • Google Gemini — image overlay rendering.
  • Supabase — database and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • TikTok API — posting curated verdicts to our TikTok account.

Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

4. TikTok Integration

We use TikTok’s Content Posting API to publish style verdicts as photo posts. No user data from TikTok is collected or stored beyond the OAuth tokens needed to post on our own account. We do not access or store any TikTok user data from third parties.

5. Data Retention

  • Original photos are deleted within 24 hours of processing.
  • Annotated verdict images may be retained for content publication.
  • WhatsApp numbers are retained only for message delivery and are not used for marketing.

6. Your Rights

You can request at any time to:

  • Delete your data by messaging us on WhatsApp.
  • Opt out of having your verdict featured publicly.
  • Request a copy of any data we hold about you.

7. Children’s Privacy

Ask Mirror is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised effective date.
